This
vision is as
follows:
Allow
children
all
over the world
to play and
develop within
a safe
environment.
The profits
generated will
be invested in
projects that
impact the
lives of the
children in
other
countries.
This
can be
realized by:
approaching
the
business
community and
asking for
a
monthly
donation of a
minimum of €10,00
on a
contractual
basis for a
period of two
years. There
is, of course,
also the
option of
making a
one-time
donation.
In this way, we are able to
generate and
guarantee a
regular income.
Added to this,
will be the
income
generated
through
entrance fees
and donations.
Ultimately, these play
centers will
become largely
self-sustaining
business
units.
Initially all income
will be used
to set up our
first play
center, known
as
Oog
voor Afrika -
Eye
on Africa.
Profits
generated by
this business
unit will be
used to
support
projects for
children in
Africa.
The
first project
we are looking
to support is
the Doulos
Trust
based
in Ladysmith,
South Africa,
which
currently
provides for
the direct
needs of
children in
the form of
food, clothing,
education and
medical
attention.
Granted, setting up play
centers is
nothing new.
What is unique
about our play
centers, is
the fact that
these are not
commercial
businesses,
whose sole
purpose is to
profit from
the fact that
children want
to play. These
are business
units that
will use the
profits
generated to
support needy
children in
Third World
Countries.
Each play center will not
only have its
own theme but
will also
focus its
support on a
specific
country.
The purpose of each
location,
however,
remains the
same: to
enable
children to
play and
develop in a
safe
environment,
while at the
same time
supporting
projects that
have been
selected by
International
Business for
Children.
