After
an intensive
marketing
survey we, the
Foundation
International
Business for
Children, have
decided to set
up our first
indoor play
center in the
Netherlands.
This play
center will
have an
African theme
and will be
named Oog
voor Afrika
-
Eye on Africa.
The play
center will be
designed in
such a way as
to stimulate
the
imagination of
the children
while they are
playing, by
means of such
activities as
painting,
climbing,
water-play,
etc. The
profits
generated by
this center
will be used
to support
projects in
Africa.
These
projects
provide for
the direct
needs of the
children, in
the form of
food, clothing,
education,
medical help
etc. One such
project is the
Doulos
Trust
based in
Ladysmith,
South Africa.
We want to
encourage children
to play,
whilst making
them aware of
the needs of
children in
other parts of
the world.
Situated in
the play
center will be
a room that
containing
photographs
and reading
material,
which allows
the children
to relate to
the various
projects that
they are
helping to
support.
Once a year, the foundation plans to sponsor a teacher to spend two weeks
assisting in
specific
projects in
Africa. Upon
their return,
they will be
given the
opportunity to
share their
experience at
the play
center, their
school and
local library.
Your support is vital.
The International Business for Children Foundation does not, as yet,
receive any
financial
support from
national or
local
government.
This
means that we
are totally
dependant on
our donors and
sponsors.
With your support, we can make this play center a reality. In the future,
we would like
to set up
other play
centers. These
play centers
will, in turn,
generate
profits, which
will be used
to financially
support
projects in
other Third
World
countries.
Once again,
these projects
will be those,
which provide
for the direct
needs of
children. In
order for us
to start up
and further
expand our
initial
project,
International
Business for
Children needs
your help.
Businesses or private individuals can support us by either sending us a
donation or by
becoming a
committed
sponsor.
